Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is famous for her parts as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her career in showbiz at a young age. Her roles included lead characters in dramas on television as young as 16 years old. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning actress. Alexandra was involved in a variety of notable national and international projects over the years. Some of these include the British biographical films, the British Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. She was also in the jury panel of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
