Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actor and TV host. Her most well-known work is the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. Born the only child to Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her professional career in the show business from a young age. At the age of 16, she reached the age of sixteen, she had secured the leading roles in numerous shows on television. Her fame was due to her portrayal in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning actress. Alexandra was associated with numerous noteworthy projects, both in the United States as well as internationally. This includes the British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historical miniseries Napoleon among others. In addition, she has been a juror at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in at the Cannes Film Festival.
